Born and raised in Gunma, Japan, I bring a unique cross-cultural perspective to my work, shaped by living in Malaysia and Singapore, as well as years of international travel as a former cabin crew member. With one year of professional translation experience, I specialize in localizing digital content in the IT, production, and finance sectors. Recent projects include translating website content for an IT consultancy and converting Japanese interviews for a voiceover actor into fluent English for the media industry.
In addition to my language work, I also apply my creativity to visual communication. Iāve designed digital and print materials for events and internal communications. Most recently, creating promotional content for workshops and anniversary events using Instagram and mobile editing tools. I enjoy combining clear messaging with engaging design, often using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to bring concepts to life across various media platforms.
Iām a native Japanese speaker with JLPT N1 certification and fluent English skills, committed to delivering translations that are accurate, natural, and culturally sensitive. Iāve also written original Japanese blog content, including user guides and onboarding instructions.
My aviation background has sharpened my global communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt across cultures. All of which I bring to every translation, writing, and creative project. Iām currently open to new opportunities in translation, writing, and creative content development to continue growing professionally here in Singapore.
